Trust Account Administrators Training Programme 2008

Who should attend | Materials | Format | Fee | Itinerary | Presenters | Registration details

One of the important but sometimes onerous duties of a solicitor practising on own account is to maintain clear and reliable trust account records, up-to-date and in compliance with the trust accounting rules and regulations. Most often the day to day duties associated with operating the trust account fall to a staff member who receives little or no training in the office but on whose skills and diligence the trust account depends.

This half day course is for trust account administrators and is intended to provide them with the knowledge, skills and confidence necessary to keep the trust account in good order.

Practice managers have reviewed the course and its materials and believe that it also offers new graduates in firms and recently admitted lawyers the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the day to day running of trust accounts, to see what happens after they authorise something and how it is dealt with.
